Freight Services

At Kent's Pack & Load we put the "service" in Freight Services.

We have a fleet of 26 foot box trucks ready to meet your needs:

  • Large Item moving – (manpower at hourly rates, available locally see our moving services page)
  • Emergency loads (expedited service).

Regular Rates (pickup/delivery not urgent):

$2.50 per transported mile.

$150 minimum transported mile total for short hauls. (Under 60 miles).

Expedited service (urgent pickup/delivery):

Deadhead (“DH”) charges applied for expedited services to cover operating losses incurred by short-notice/expediting dead-head.

DH Charge – $1.12 per mile against truck’s dead head out of & returning to Marietta. Applied for expedited services to cover operating costs from miles traveled because of load, but without carried cargo. Our DH charge allows us to provide excellent service at short notice, even without loads coming back from your delivery.
